Whew!

Tue Aug 21, 2007, 9:39 PM
Been more then an eternity since I've posted anything on here, or even put up anything.

As far as my flash work... It's pretty much non-existent now unfortunately. No longer having a copy of Flash, or any real motivation to program put an end to that. I've recieved a wicked nice camera that's done nothing but gather dust, but with the new semester starting up, I'm hoping I'll find something worth getting out there and taking a picture of. I know many a person who'd be glad to see me post anything at all. So here's me apologizing for the very likely chance of there never being another Flash game on here.

  • Mood: Nervous
  • Listening to: Negative One to Ten by Tsunami Bomb
  • Reading: Way of the Peaceful Warrior
  • Playing: World of War'crack'
  • Eating: Altoids
  • Drinking: Gatoraid

Absence

Yeah, I know I haven't posted in forever, and I said in my last entry that I would. It's not that I haven't built anything. It's more that the stuff I've built won't work without a database. So bear with me until I build something that will at least mostly work without help from an exterior program.

Moving on.

As you know, I've recently submitted a few flash games. As much as I've enjoyed creating them, I probably won't be able to make more for a bit. The flash I will probably be submitting will most likely just be simple programs that perform limited tasks. I do plan on making more games, if you have an Idea for a game (try to keep it simple if you could) feel free to tell me. I don't know if I'll have time or the ability to make it, but if I get the chance I'll probably have a go at it.
Thanks for your support!

Learning ActionScript

Fri Oct 22, 2004, 7:46 AM
I've recently aquired Flash MX 2004 prof. i'm teaching myself Actionscript with the help of a couple of books by Sham Bhangal (if you're looking for some good books on learning flash, Sham is a great author, the books of his i'm currently reading are funny and easy to understand) titled "Foundation ActionScript for Flash MX 2004" and "FLASH MX 2004 GAMES MOST WANTED" both published by friends of ED. I wasn't planning on posting my finished tutorials but *LivingFiction has expressed intrest, so I guess I will.

P.S. Yeah... i'm not dead, don't act so suprised

Now and then

I know i've only had 1 new entry in the past months.
I've been busy, and nothing i've done (artistically speaking) has really been worth posting. So you'll have to excuse the long absences.
